The release of Count Her In from the Women's Foundation of Oregon

I somehow missed posting this, but in the fall of 2016, I made a video for the Women's Foundation of Oregon announcing the release of the first comprehensive report on Women and Girls. It's called Count Her In and it's vital to creating change in our state. Please watch and help support WFO's work.

For 2017, I'll be working with them on a series of 8 videos that highlight our most urgent concerns, the 8 That Can't Wait. Stay tuned.

Women's Foundation Listening Tour Video

In April, I travelled with the Women's Foundation of Oregon to document their listening tour in an RV lovingly painted with their logo. It was an incredible experience to meet so many women and girls and see the state in this way. The above is the video I made to show what we did and why. Please watch.

I'm also a member of foundation and wholeheartedly believe in their work!

New Video for Call to Safety (formally Portland Women's Crisis Line)

For the past three years I've had the honor of working with Portland Women's Crisis Line to make their annual fundraising video. This year, they changed their name to Call to Safety, a brilliant new name that better fits the many things they do and who they serve. Watch the video to hear board member SuAnne talk about her experience with the organization working to end domestic violence and abuse.

Women's Foundation of Oregon Legacy Award Finalists

Got to make a video for the Women's Foundation of Oregon. This was a little unusual in that we were tasked with making a short video after visiting three organizations for an hour each. We arrived, found our location, interviewed some folks, grabbed some b-roll and then set off to the next in the course of one morning. Phew!

Video turned out great and the best part for me was just getting to know the work of these organizations. You could really tell that their work is important and valued by the folks they each serve and it was an honor to peek behind the scenes and hear from empassioned staff about the work they do. Kudos to WFO for supporting this kind of impact--especially for women--in our community.
